This book uses black, white and yellow contrasting colours in different pictures (mummy, daddy, baby) and patterns. Each page makes a crinkle sound to encourage babies to grasp and play with it. It has a handy velcro tie that makes it easy to take along anywhere. It is great to develop sight- focusing on a picture and tracking as you move the book in front of their eyes. Helps young babies/children with sight difficulties too.

5 stars Perfect book for babies 2010-01-18

I got this book as a Christmas present for my godson, aged 2 months. He loved it very much, he was fascinated by the mirror on the cover and very attracted to the high contrast pictures. I would definitely recommend this as a first baby book.

5 stars A Must Have 2010-01-18

I bought a pair of these for our twin boys on recommendation of a neonatal nurse.
They are worth their weight in gold, the boys love these books and their high contrast images, they stimulate, excite and entertain them and prove that they do indeed work to develop the eyesight, cognitive development and muscular control.
I would highly recommend that every parent try these out for their child(ren).
